Our land vast and free. Always was, always will be.
Sitting in the shade of a eucalyptus tree. No worries, carefree

Back in the dreamtime

Boats sail across the sea. Fear in the eyes that look at me.
Don’t know where to flee. Hearing loved one’s plea.

After the dreamtime

People perishing around my town. In the heavens or on the dusty red ground.
My family nowhere to be found. A battle raging all around.

After the dream time

Silence is all I hear and see. Emotion overtaking me.
Suddenly a light I see. Time to reconciliate, and forgive those who we hate.

Only then we will live. Back in the dreamtime.
