These whimsical hands
Are endless in time
Like desert sands.
The love that filled
When I had my first cry
Consumed me with your hug
As you sang me a lullaby.
The love that filled
As I took my first steps
Guided me
To follow in your footsteps.
The love that fills
These lines that run across this palm
Show how much
I love you mum.
