I will have a guinea pig as long as it can do a jig
I will have a pig as long as it is not too big
I will have a llama as long as it brings good karma
I will have a bird as long as it is not full of drama
I will have a rabbit as long as it doesn’t have a bad habit
I will have a lizard as long as it will let me grab it
I will have a cat as long as it can hold a cricket bat
I will have a rat as long as it wears a fancy hat
I really, really, really want a pet right now
I will even have a cow as long as it has a uni brow
I will have a dog as long as it doesn’t smell like a bog
But what I really want is a hedgehog that will share my hot dog
So please can I have a pet, it is a purchase you will not regret
A hedgehog is not as loud as a clarinet or string quartet
Please, please, please say yes
I’ve already bought her a bow and dress.
