Oh, magnificent Uluru
In the centre of Australia you are as sacred as God.
No mountain climbing guru
Shall attempt to set foot on you.
Formed over millions of years ago
You are our continent’s symbol,
Attracting people around the world to come and see you glow.
Oh, magnificent Uluru, you are so special!
Beautiful like a ruby, you are as red as a rose,
You provide shelter for unique reptiles, red kangaroos and underground moles.
You are cold as ice in the morning,
And nearby there are interesting insects crawling.
Oh, magnificent Uluru, you are a natural wonder of the world
From the Dreamtime to the present!
