Some time in 2021,
All parks were closed and schools were too,
We stayed at home just to be safe,
And washed our hands so much just in case,
Everyone was sad,
And some people were sick,
The world was very different,
And it had changed as much for me as you,
We stayed safe but for good,
And our friends were missing us,
While we waited and waited,
The world got worse and better at the same time,
Though we got to play games, watched movies and spend time with family,
Just for this virus,
On days with school we went on zoom and did our work on seesaw,
One day in the year when we were told that we were allowed to go to school,
There was a memory in our heart.
