Spreading a smile on whoever I meet
Making them laugh until they’re off their feet
I’m the person they can’t wait to see
That’s the person they know me to be
What they don’t know is that I wear a mask
Keeping that a secret is my only task
They mustn’t know who I really am
Someone with a desire to escape life’s exam
Behind this mask is my sorrow and my pain
All those little voices, shouting at my brain
It eats me up on the inside, makes me feel distressed
But with this mask in front of me, there’s no need to confess
Making people content is my only motivation
That little light that could spark a new creation
I can get through this, You know what they say
Nothing is impossible, there is always a way
