Rain Dance

The wind rustles through the trees, the sky becomes dark and the air crisp.
The clouds whisper promises of sparkling showers.
Tears of happiness to refresh the earth after long sought rain,
the smell clears minds and brings joy to living beings.
The months grow long and dry until you arrive with bursting life,
the birds sing peaceful songs in harmony to the sound of the dripping rain.
All are unique and special in their ways.
The frogs leap from puddle to puddle, embracing the moisture you bring.
Now the rain dance will begin.
