Why do humans fight and kill,
When slandered, slighted or treated ill,
With no real thought of forgiveness?
How can humans waste so much,
Their time, money, resources and such,
For pleasures so quickly spent?
What’s to be gained by going to Mars,
And squandering thousands on extravagant cars,
When millions have barely enough food?
When was it right to pour away oil,
Into the rivers and onto the soil,
Poisoning millions of living things?
Humans are crazy, careless creatures,
With few, if any, desirable features.
The world would be a much better place,
If there were more of us goldfish.
