Language is the delicate breath,
slowly covering you with warmth.
It's the gentle pit pat of rain,
on the window pane.
It's the curling, unfolding sounds,
of love and loss.
It's the raging storms,
the twisted curved thorns.
It tips you over the edge,
the pain of knowledge.
Language is expression,
in the most dangerous and delicate form.
Language is the death of naivety,
and the birth of hypocrisy.
The end of the beginning,
and the beginning of the end.
