Wanderlust

Floating calmly upon a river,
A grove of pine trees arriving nearer,
The rays of sunlight seeping through the horizon,
The weather made my mood brighten,
Sky streaked by warm pastel hues,
Every angle sparkled with calming views,
Encompassed by a ring of snow-capped peaks,
With a cool zephyr toughing my cheeks,
A flock of birds gliding over me,
And a butterfly resting upon my knee,
Wishing to stay here forever,
As this spectacle isn't seen wherever,
But all good things come to an end,
And the end of one journey marks the start of another adventure.
