Basketball is my favourite sport
I like the way you dribble up and down the court

I can jump as high as Michael Jordan who’s very tall
When someone says, “Take the shot!”, I answer the call

I can play like Ricky Grace
I’ll get the ball past anyone even if I’m out of space

I can take the ball like Shaq O’Neill
In basketball this is called a steal

My favourite shot is the alley-oop
I like the way you slam the ball through the hoop

My favourite trick is the finger roll
And if I use this trick the crowd would scream, “Goal!”

Ten seconds left in the game
I’ll shoot myself into records and fame

I learnt to play ball in Koongamia
And there’s not many kids who can jump any higher
