Emotions

We all have emotions, but not all are that great, They help us and hurt us. Can fill us with hate. We think emotions control us, We think that’s our fate. But we control them, and they help us, Think of them as your best mate. My emotions and I, We were friends forever, We laughed and we played, We were always together. But one day my emotions, I needed them now, I cried, I screamed, But they were nowhere to be found. I then realised, That I had lost control. And in my heart, There was a great hole. But then I began to calm down, And began to breath. And what happened next, You will not believe. In the distance, I saw them my emotions. As big and as bright, As the Pacific Ocean. Then again, I lost control, But in a good way, I had them, I loved them, And this time they would stay. My emotions and I, They completed my life. And when I was without them, It felt like I’d been cut by a knife. We laughed and we cried, Just like friends do. And this is the story. Of me and you.
