For the world is cruel and cunning
It will knock you down and make you bleed
Be strong O heart
For people are vicious and vile
They will tear and maim
Be strong O heart
For the mind is fierce and ferocious
It speaks lies and pain
Be strong O heart
You will make it through the night
With courage and strength
