Flaring, flickering, fiery tongues
bright hues of red, orange and flaming gold
are glowing silk ribbons, in the air
a roaring sea of fire
Then, a wave of water
blue, aqua and clear
rippling calm counters the roaring fury
a battle
Meanwhile, the savage wind,
howling, wailing, rushing by
slams all to the wall
an invisible enemy
It meets its match,
a fragile leaf, yellowed with age
it only flutters, the wind shrieks
after all, strength is no match for wisdom
