Cricket is a game of fun,
you have to hit the ball and run.
When the ball hits the wickets, you are out.
That is when you hear a big shout.
When someone hits a six or four,
there is always a loud roar.
A fielder runs to the ball and dives for the save,
while the crowd enjoy a Mexican wave!
The bowler walks to start at their mark,
and hide the grip to keep the batter in dark!
There comes a swinging ball,
the batter tries to play with no clue at all!
Each ball turns out to be a different one,
that’s where lies the real fun.
The game is not over, until it’s done.
