They sit,
They watch,
They wait.
It is about to happen.
Still they wait.
Their power is great,
Their knowledge is infinite.
The sun expands,
It glows red, then blue.
People on the planet stare in wonder.
Then suddenly nothing.
The watchers peer on,
Concentration intense,
Out of the ashes of the planet,
A new life emerges.
