Once I Forgot My Homework

Once I forgot my homework it was many pages long
I said my dog ate it
But the class laughed along

I only wanted out of trouble
But I got it on the double
She laughed with a chuckle
Then clenched her knuckle

I got locked up in a room
It was called detention
As far as I know it was full of tention
I thought it would end in suspension

It was like a whole knew demetion
I was full of aprihention
While I was in detention
