We are waiting to live
We are gathering moments from past encounters and living off laughter that has long expired
Moments have come and gone, we sit lonely, the mind races, the computer hums in the corner
In the distance, we hear illusional laughter, and the yells of relentless dwelling and intrusive thoughts
The silence is so peaceful, yet so deafening
We are waiting to die, with nothing to declare, just a waiting
Which each faces alone
The space in which ones lives is cluttered and waiting for clarity
The days where fun was something that comes free and without consequences
Where the art of communication was paired with facial expression
The constant wait for a better tomorrow which never comes
Longing for gentle rage to be woken within
Tomorrow slowly grows into today without notice, then fades into yesterday.
The world is chaotic and disobedient, we are forever longing to live without having to survive.
We are forever waiting to live
