When one shallow winters night thou don't know where to go,
When all one’s thoughts are tangled up and goosebumps start to show
A talent of which can be chosen, one difficult as thee can be
For shall thou choose the path of wisdom, pleasure or knowledge
For I don't know where to go, where to feel, or what to see\Whilst desiring wisdom, good judgement, and perception comes in hand
But being too quiet and having insight may lead one’s voice away
But choosing knowledge and intelligence should give enlightenment in day
Though companions may depart and thee shall feel the need to put this knowledge astray
For choosing pleasure can sought life of amusement,
Leisure can even be obtained, but as all choices have result
Pleasure cannot always be here as thou life has choice and pain
The choices lingering around one’s head, which one should thy choose?
Well the clearer I come, the better I see,
Health is better the knowledge, wisdom and pleasure, certainly
