Strolling along the middle of an endless highway,
Freshly painted white lines on a smooth paved narrow dark surface,
The scent of ludicrously beautiful flowers filling the chilly yet mellow still air,
The affection we shared could only be expressed as being feasibly rare.
For we both gazed in an ever so indescribable love that night,
Sharing, talking and reminiscing over the countless memories endured together,
As you stare at me with your charming and mesmerizing sapphire blue eyes,
My heart skipped a beat as I finally felt comfortable revealing my disguise.
With the feel of a subtle yet hefty breeze come by,
Your golden blonde hair swayed and brushed my face in which I knew forever was meant to be for you and I,
I showed you my true self and laid my vulnerable soul bare,
In such desire that you would accept, overlook and forget the differences I share.
And just like that you carried on, as if nothing mattered, not then, not now,
Clenching on to my hand, as my heart overflowed with such warmth,
For we shall grow old and stroll down this empty highway one final time,
Smelling the same scent of paint and flowers and gazing at the stars above shine.
