A Cute Little Cat

I was laying on the bed
Quite tired and drowsy,
Resting my aching head,
I was being very lousy.
Then out the window I saw
A cute little grey kitten,
With a scratch on its paw,
I think it was bitten.
I let her in and gave her milk,
She lapped it up right away.
Her fur glistening like silk,
I could tell she was happy to stay.
I wanted to keep her so I asked my dad,
And he said maybe,
If she wasn’t bad
And because she is a baby.
