I am Australian,
Part of an ever-growing nation of compassion.
A bearer of the Southern Cross.
A child of the skies, rivers and rocks.
I am a mate who loves the barbie,
A kid who frolics in the endless sunshine.
An ally to our Traditional Custodians,
A boy captured in the essence of Dreamtime.
I am Australian,
A lover of Milo after the cricket runs.
A proud Melbournian boy,
Beside the Yarra do I run.
Vegemite on toast do I enjoy,
The sausage sizzles to miss.
And everyday I strive to be better,
For in Australia, every day is bliss!
