Excellence Award in the 'National Treasures 2022' competition
Little snippets of moments in time
Captured by the brain, a playback in your head.
Sliding and skipping across your mind.
Millions upon millions throughout your life.
Fresh and intact, like it happened only yesterday.
Memories can fade away, grey and dull.
Like a movie, run out of film.
Some are in between, not sharp or definite.
Relying on that last inch of remembrance
Memories may lie just out of reach, blurry and unfocused.
Memories are a gift.
Every single one stored somewhere along memory lane
Each one is a miracle because
Memories build our friendships.
Memories shape our lives.
Memories make us human.
