Tragedy sprung all at the age of one
It was no one’s choice to never hear your voice
They say I would be making you proud but I just want you around
If only you called someone for a lift we wouldn’t be in this rift
Hearing stories of all your glories
Letting out cries from your gift of blue eyes
You were a gallant of many talents
I wish I could see your smile when I one day walk down the aisle
I wish you were here to see me grow, or even just for a hello
You deserved a life and so you could make mum a wife
I will honor you through a tattoo but I just wish I got to know you
Our loss if painful but you will always be my angel
As the sunrises and sunsets, you I will never forget
I am glad to call you my dad
