Camping In The Bush

Camping in the bush at Easter time,
Lush, long, green grass tickles my feet.
Colourful butterflies fly past my eyes,
Brown and white hares hop along the rocky path.
Opening chocolate on Easter morning,
Reading books about world records.
Playing games in the long grass,
Sleeping on the camping couch.
Toasting marshmallows,
Finding gummy worms in marshmallows,
Climbing up tall fig trees,
Looking at the view through binoculars.
Sadly, the fun must come to an end
It’s time to go home for school again!
