One hot wet night the bats gave me a fright
I sent up my tent while someone else’s got bent and left a dent
We smelt dinner cooking then I heard someone sooking
I stood near the pot that was very very hot
The campfire got awfully hot and the food began to rot
Oh drat, here comes the little brat
I sat down for dinner with the brat then starting acting like a cat
We packed up our dilly bag to meet near the flag
I went for a swim and someone asked “what’s a limb?”
It was almost time to sleep but I heard a big beep
It was challenge time. Everyone gets to shine
I put on my trusty hat so that I could lay flat
Finally it was time to sleep. I didn’t move, not one tiny peep.
