The order of moths and butterflies,
Insects flutter up into the skies
Wings deceitful, perfect disguise,
When folded up reveal its lies
Scales paint membranous wings in colour,
Each species unique, not one like another
The head is the first of three segments,
Where most sensory organs are present
The thorax follows the head,
The station that the wings embed
The abdomen is the final location,
Special for reproduction and respiration
From comet moths long tail wings,
To the tiger moths intriguing spots
Enormous range of creatures,
So many special features
