Yellow is the staggering sight of sunflowers in a stunning meadow,
The sunflowers brightness up the whole meadow like a light getting switched on for the first time in countless years,
It just makes you want to pounce into them to embrace them all.
Yellow is the sophisticated sound of summer calling,
All the colourful Toucans squawk at Tom when he strides by,
They all come over and perch on a nearby branch when the first day of summer strolls by,
Yellow is the charming scent of natural pineapples being sliced,
As the juice comes exploding out, like bullets from a gun,
As soon as someone buys it, the pineapple struts into people's mouths.
Yellow is the jarring nudge of the sun thrashing onto people's faces,
Having ice cream and sitting by the beach would be the ultimate thing to do.
Walking by the shimmering sea and having a lively afternoon.
Yellow is the taste of fresh fruit right off the fruit tree,
'Plop' Into your mouth like a taste of a new beginning,
Pick it and then consume it right away right next to a glass of wine.
Yellow is colour that defines life.
