My heart is a garden
God placed you as a seed in the middle
Currently you're a bud but you will grow
And you will keep growing until one day
You blossom into a flower with bright, bold petals
But just like that, someone will come and snatch you away
Like a storm, strong and fierce, with a tormenting wind that will tug and tug
'till it rips you from your roots, tearing you from the ground
And carry you far, far away
From my broken heart into someone else's
A flower doesn't bleed, but a heart does
But don't worry, I will heal
A new seedling will come and plant itself where you once were
And the cycle will start over
But like all wounds, a scar will remain
Always and forever
