What do we spiders have to do,
just to become friends with you?
Everyone prefers ladybugs and bees,
not a spider that “has a disease.”
We just get thought of as creepy little bugs,
even though we can give you four hugs.
People yell “Spider!” and we just sigh.
Isn’t it alright if we’re only passing by?
If spiders weren’t around, you’d be surprised,
with the increasing number of buzzing flies!
People always think we do things that are wrong.
Why do we always get squished by a thong?
This has gone on for too long, I’m sure you can agree,
There needs to be peace between you and me.
Next time you see us don’t get bug spray,
simply wait for us to be on our way.
