Purple on red,
Green on blue,
Here comes the sunset,
In an orange hue.
Yellow and gold,
Shades of pink,
In the water coloured sky,
The sun begins to sink.
The raccoon runs off,
The lemur lays down,
The moon sheds her cloak,
Donning a shimmering gown.
The sun sees Venus,
And waves goodbye,
The owl takes off,
Hooting, flying high.
