Days In The Sun

The road is rugged and long;
Life is sometimes weary,
People move along,
Because when they look back it makes them teary.

Some people's life stories are sad,
Others are filled with jolly and gad;
But not all memories are bad,
So let's cling on to the good ones we had.

Looking back to the past,
We remember the races we won;
Oh, how the time flew fast,
As we grew up under the sun.

But now it is time,
For someone else to have our fun;
Even though we can no longer run and climb,
We can still cherish those days in the sun.
