Lush and green
Leaves whisking away
Animals' homes wiped clean
Hunting ground at night and paradise at day.
From branch to branch
Writhed a golden snake
Started at the man and axe in a trance
The forest was at stake.
Beauty at its best
Gone without warning
We stand in protest
But it's barren by morning.
Earth's purity gone; taken and stolen
This generation is just an ill omen
