Excellence Award in the 'Unleashed 2022' competition

Why can't kids vote? That is my one question,
I keep on thinking every day, but I have a few suggestions.
We could be Prime Minister, the government and more!
Kids can do anything, we could stop political wars
Adults think we're unreasonable, but we can prove them wrong.
Kids are absolutely brilliant, let's show them we belong.
Climate change, Covid and many more problems to come,
Kids have enormous things that we are yet to become.
Kids are smart we have good hearts, we'll put this to an end.
Kids have great ideas that even adults can't comprehend.
Us kids must stand up and the government must approve,
That kids will be allowed to vote we need to make a move.
Our ideas may be denied, but we need to push through,
Kids should have a say in every single thing we do.
I wonder if somebody, will someday find this poem I wrote
We need to make a difference, us kids deserve a vote.
