Save Our Planet

It was a bright sunny day
Not a cloud in the sky
When I suddenly realised
We had progressed in time
But not everything that has
happened in the last hundred years
has helped the planet
that will soon disappear.
It is called Earth, the planet of life,
and what is now dead was once alive.
Years will pass and generations will come
but the future of them is all up to us.
We can say sorry
We can feel pain
But we’ll never have the chance
To start over again.
