O hail the king! O hail the king!
Dressed in his majestic robe
A beaded crown upon his head
And a royal sceptre in his hand.
All hail the king! All hail the king!
Seated on a noble throne
To his left is seated the queen
And around him stand his guards.
O salute the king! O salute the king!
Judges without fear and favour
Returns to the poor what belongs to them
And dismisses the villain empty-handed.
Long live the king! Long live the king!
Every lip sings to his praises
Young and old honour him
Live long, the king! Live long, the king!
