A Hot Day
The sun is like a giant battalion forcing people inside.
Today was another hot summer day
The sun was hotter then usual
When mum finally called me in
It was like heaven just to get into the shade,
And as soon I drank the Fanta on the table my mouth was filled with heavenly joy
Refreshed, I went to battle the intense heat once more,
Fighting the sun and heat was so intense I felt as if I would faint,
But I still wanted to play with my basketball
Outside it felt as if the heat were the soldiers of the sun and they were pushing me inside but I had to get at least one more hoop, I yelled “yes I finally got it!”
