Eclipse Of The Heart

As I start to wake up, ready to chase after my true love,
I start to rage because I can’t see her again.
I look down as I start to shimmer and get ready to fly away like a dove,
I wonder to myself is my love ever going to wait for me?
As arise and shine light across the Earth,
I seek across the horizon for the one I long to meet.
I want to tell her that she has worth,
She’s the one I have been looking for.
Every once a while meet together at the same place,
She giggles and blushes and my cheeks start to boil.
My ray of sunshine focusing on her precious face ,
After a few minutes, our kiss ends and it’s time to say goodbye.
My life isn’t the same without her near,
She’s the only one for me.
There’s no one else that I hold so dear,
She’s the definition of perfect to me.
