Nature At It’s Finest
A beautiful summer’s evening it was
As I sat atop my balcony
All I could hear was the chatter and buzz
Of all living creatures acting casually
Yet today felt different
As I felt the gentle zephyr kiss my ears
Today I felt magnificent
So much so that this evening hour brought me tears
For I had never once thought of how beautiful our world truly is
How the trees sway left and right
How the evening air brings me bliss
How the heavenly sky brings me delight
But now it was time for the sun to seek its slumber
As the blazing ball began to set, the glistening orb began to rise
For now it is goodbye to you, dear reader
For I will return tomorrow, only this time I will see the sunrise
