The birds sing high, their pretty song,
it fills the forest with a wondrous throng.
The robins and wrens will not bite,
but the eagles and the hawks may, just might.
Birds make nests, with the leaves of spring,
the nests are full of the eggs that birds bring.
Look how fast the sparrow can fly,
but one day that little sparrow will die.
The great birds of prey, in the air,
mighty and ferocious as the great bear.
They need to find meals every day,
the best meals found are in the month of May.
Birds have colours, blues, greens and reds,
Some birds also have colours on their heads.
I love the birds so nice, so sweet,
I hope one day I can give them a treat.
