Light To Dark

The unknown darkness closes in
But a warm light shines within
It fills you up
Makes you smile
Does so much in so little time
Such a simple thing
It’s all around us
But we need to let it in
So often we sit and cry
Letting the light in
The only solution
We may not see it often
But the light is always there
The warmth fades in and out
Leaves us shivering
The light goes out
