Trickling down the stained glass pane
Gravity begging me into its grasp
The momentum I begin to gain
Land embracing me once more; enclasped
The blade of turf I clutch,
Sways in the breeze as I struggle.
How I wait for the sun’s touch
Yet I am powerless through this trouble
The coat of grey that engulfs overhead
Now leaves me an entrance
Misery flushes from me, oh how I was mislead!
I feel in a trance
Happiness erupting from me as I dissipate
The want and eagerness fills me
And to fellows on the ground I commiserate
For I am finally free
