Physical (A Poem About Domestic Violence)

Hit me, hate me, say sorry,
Your anger is that of a million bees.
'You are the one,' you said to me.
I've had enough, time for you to leave.
You keep me coming with a jolt,
Even though it's not my fault.
Our shouts echo across the room.
I feel as though I'm facing my doom.
The punishments that I have received
Is a web of pain that you have weaved.
You make tears stream down my face
Like you're attacking with a mental mace.
