Love In Despair

Behind the walls made of secrets,
We talk at our special tree.
I stare into your glistening eyes,
Whilst you linger on wanting to be free.

You tell me I need to cut my long hair,
I was only focusing on you I was so unaware.
You wrap my scarf around me ever so gently,
With the sun gleaming and rush of misty air.

Your love for me expired and got thrown into the sea,
When you said that you’ve always hated me.
I refuse to believe that you said that intentionally,
It became an unwanted memory.

I didn’t know I could feel heartbreak this intensely.
You lead to destruction for hundreds of hours,
Behind the walls you unleash the secrets,
Here lies your spirit at the tree we used to call ours.
