I didn’t mean to hover,
You shouldn’t have taken the bait,
You didn’t mean to stutter,
I shattered your mental state,
I didn’t mean to make you suffer,
But in the end that was our fate,
I thought you were my lover,
We started on a clean slate,
We weren’t meant to be together,
And you weren’t meant to hate.
