I used to think I could see the world,
Through a pixelated screen,
Until I got up and walked out into that glorious world,
Did I realise how foolish I’d been,
Nature is but an invitation to dance,
Between Creator and created,
A celestial serenade by the Sun at twilight,
To his moon who for her good-night kiss was patient,
Ancient philosophers have lost hair and sanity,
In an argument with nature’s incalculable origin,
Can we even find ‘philosophers’ today?
In this post-truth wasteland we forage in?
In bed I lie, in chairs I sit,
With paper and pen for company,
At war with words, at war with society,
I may be the only one who listens to nature’s symphony
