Silver gums
Orange plums
Kangaroos and joeys lively ‘til dawn
Blazing heat
The first fleet
The fight of Gallipoli 8 months of hardship and toil
Soldiers arrive
Few alive
The battle lost along with the war
Remembered forever
Forgotten never
They will be heroes in history
