We were only young,
When we were taken away,
When we were slung,
Into a truck to stay,
Our mothers cried and yelled,
But they could not help,
We were scared and compelled,
As we could not hear our mothers yelp,
The truck drove away,
To a place not like home,
We sat in an array,
As they took us some place random,
We finally arrived, as daylight blinded our eyes,
We felt deprived,
This is where we will spend the rest of our lives.
