Bright, against a dreaded dull sky
Colour filled, amidst a maze of darkness
A promise from God for his people
Treasured deep in spectrums and prisms
Giving hope for his people in prisons
And schisms caused by drowning hearts
For deceiving pots of gold at end lies near
Yet never ending is this agony
Of tyranny in the sky of a blood red sea
Created with the sorrows of broken, colourless parts
But beautiful in every way imaginable
Sticking around for desirable and renewable happiness
Looking out the window seeing colours that we guess
Came from a star that shone upon my scars
To let me know that it will never go
The phenomenon known as my rainbow
