A galloping fire races about,
Hovering over the newly homeless, Pouncing on helpless victims-
Fire, a merciless beast.
Innocent people live their lives,
A crash, a bang, a boom, Chaos erupts, Fire jumps-
Flames, the languid things
The petrifying thing gallops about,
Weaving its way through cities big and small, threatening to wreak more havoc, No intention to leave until it’s done,
Fire- A dangerous devil
Fires, Fires, Fires, We all know the danger, ‘Keep out of its way’,
That’s what they say.
But what brings light,
What brings the merry winters,
Do fires deserve the blame?
